Applicant is required to be a member of a Christian congregation, be actively involved in the church and have upper intermediate level English language skills. 

The applicant must submit:

1. a completed Seminary application form. The form can be dowloaded form here.
2. Two references are required from international applicants, one from your pastor and one from either a co-worker, employer or teacher who is not a family member. Reference forms are sent direct from the BMTS to the person providing the reference and must be returned directly to the BMTS (not via the applicant). Seminary will send the forms directly to the referee.
3. a copy of the applicant’s secondary education certificate (preferably PDF). The applicant is obliged to show the originals of the diplomas upon the arrival to Estonia.
4. a copy of the applicant’s passport (preferably PDF)


Application fee

An application fee of 50 euros is required of all applicants who require a living permit in Estonia for the duration of their studies. Fee needs to be sent directly to the bank account of the seminary, which belongs to the Estonian Methodist Church. The Description has to include application fee and the applicant's name.

Payment should be made in euros and without charges to the beneficiary.
Payment can also be paid via Western Union agent or online on their web page.
Processing fee is non-refundable. Fee needs to be paid by 1st of May in order to consider the applicant´s candidacy for the interview.


Admission deadlines

We accept the applications for international students who require a visa starting from the 1st of March. The deadline for the internation admission is 1st May. The deadline for those who do not require a visa is 15th August. The next step in the admission process is an interview with the Admissions Board. If the prospective students meets all the requirments and has submited the documents, he/she will recieve the e-mail with the details on the dates of the interview. International applicants can have the interview via Skype. Interviews will take place approximately in the middle of May.
In addition to interview the applicant is asked to take a written test on the knowledge of the Bible.
