The Basic Christian Studies certificate demonstrates to your congregation that you have a strong foundation to contribute to church work.

To receive the certificate in Basic Christian Studies, a student must complete one year of full time studies, which is a minimum of 45 EAP from the Seminary’s Mission and Theology curriculum.

The Basic Christian Studies program can start you on a journey deeper in faith and higher in your ability to serve God. If you then decide you would like to continue, the Basic Christian Studies courses already count as the first year towards a bachelor’s degree in Mission and Theology.
