The BMTS invites you to the seminar  "Raising Generous Disciples"
Lecturer: M. Scott Gilpin, Director of Development of the UMC General Board of Higher Education and Ministry.

Scott Gilpin argues that the problem with contemporary discipleship is that we have confused Biblical generosity with fundraising. He calls to discover the energy and enthusiasm of generosity we find in the Scripture and more so in the life of Jesus. Together we will explore nine main ways to rediscover generosity.
The success of any organization and ministry rests on leadership, calling people to a fruitful vision, knowing the impact of your organization, and at times, creating bold plans. During the seminar, we will explore the five most important questions your organization should be asking, look at the four essential fundraising steps, and how it all looks through the eyes of donors.

“This training is one of the best of its kind and has contributed greatly to the development of our Seminary. 4 years ago, Scott Gilpin led a practical and at the same time spiritual training for the Seminary staff. I believe that Christians at large could benefit from this knowledge. I believe that God can do unimaginably more through and among those churches, organizations, or associations whose leaders and members consistently practice the mindset and principles that Scott teaches.” - Külli Tõniste, Rector, BMTS
