I was born in Saaremaa into a family where my mother was a Christian, my father was not. My mother and I sometimes went to the Reeküla Methodist Church near our home. When Sunday school started there, I joined, and later I was involved in the youth work of the congregation. In one of the children's camps I made a decision to dedicate my life to God.

At a very young age, I began to do Sunday school classes for children, and to organise youth camps. Active work in the congregation led to tasks at the level of the entire Estonian Methodist Church. For a long time I was a member of the team coordinating youth work and for a while I was also its leader. I have worked as a teacher, youth worker, career counsellor and as the CEO of an NGO. I currently serve the Estonian Methodist Church as an assistant to the Superintendent.
