Under the Erasmus programme, students enrolled in Estonian higher education institutions, regardless of their citizenship or residence status, can study abroad starting from their second year. The foreign institution must hold an Erasmus+ Charter, and the student’s home institution must have a partnership agreement with the foreign school or organisation.
Estonia also participates in Erasmus+ global mobility, enabling cooperation with partner countries outside the EU. This allows students to study at recognised higher education institutions in these countries, expanding their international academic opportunities.
