Our alumnus and newly appointed research fellow, Andrus Kask, along with our rector Laur Lilleoja, visited the Nazarene Theological College (NTC) in Manchester last December to participate in the Methodist Studies Seminar and meet with representatives of the school.

The Methodist Studies Seminars were started by the Manchester Wesley Research Centre, with many Wesleyan Research Centres participating in it every year.

Andrus presented his research into the life of John Witt - a key figure in the spread of Methodism in Latvia and Lithuania in the 20th century, whose life and ministry had thus far not been thoroughly investigated.

Another aim of the visit was to discuss opportunities for further cooperation with NTC, including joint academic ventures, study exchanges, and research. We feel there to be great interest in cooperation from both sides, and we hope to soon reap the tangible benefits of our friendship!
