COURSE DESCRIPTION
We all want to teach the Bible and preach even more effectively – but how? This course deals with that question, starting with adopting a new point of view of God as a communicator – especially a story teller. We will also pay special attention to Jesus as as a master communicator, and learn how his choices and practices – especially as a story teller – can form our own theology- and Bible teaching practices.
TEACHER
Dr. Billy Coppedge is active in the Lausanne movement, and with his wife Joanna they have lived and worked in Uganda for many years with World Gospel Mission.
Dr. Coppedge has a PhD in World Christianity from the University of Edinburgh with his research focusing primarily on orality and Scripture engagement in Ugandan Christianity.
