On June 5, 2025, the Open Doors Day was held at the Estonian Methodist Theological Seminary, welcoming everyone interested in theological studies, spiritual growth, or discerning their calling.
The day began with a shared lunch and continued with open lectures, where several faculty members gave presentations. Mark Nelson spoke on apologetics, Marjana Luist on lifelong learning, and Colleen Weaver on spiritual formation.
Guests had the opportunity to explore the seminary’s facilities and history, participate in discussions, and engage in conversations with teachers and students. In the evening panel discussion, the seminary faculty answered participants’ questions on the Bible and the Christian faith. The panel discussion was moderated by seminar alumnus Heli Metsala, with responses from lecturers Hindrek-Taavet Taimla, Arne Hiob, and Mark Nelson.
The day offered a meaningful insight into the theological learning environment and encouraged decisions in favor of theological studies. The seminary continues to accept new students for the autumn semester.
