STUDY

Wes and Joy Griffin are the guests and main instructors for the session. They are co-founders of the seminary. The theme of their lectures will be "Advancing the Kingdom of God: the Outpouring of the Spirit in Uncertain Times"

Our world is straining under the current political, economic, social and spiritual challenges. We are also witnessing God pour out the Holy Spirit in unprecedented ways on a global scale. Now, more than ever, the Body of Christ needs to be mobilized to cooperate with this contemporary outpouring of the Holy Spirit so that the Kingdom of God can be advanced in our local and national contexts. Dr. Wes and Joy Griffin will explore the biblical and theological foundations for advancing the Kingdom of God, as well as equip participants with practical leadership skills.

Wes and Joy Griffin served on the founding team for the Baltic Methodist Theological Seminary. They are known as global ambassadors for the spread of the Gospel with a special passion for leadership and spiritual formation. Their travels have taken them to over 80 nations around the world as teachers, preachers, and mobilizers.  Currently, Joy is the Founder and President of Operation Beautiful Feet, a ministry focused on spreading the Gospel where the Gospel is needed most.  Wes serves on Joy’s team and he is also the chairperson of the Kingdom Advancement Commission for the Global Methodist Church where he oversees evangelism, church planting, missions, unreached people groups and disaster response.
