The Prayer and the Power of God in Ministry course is part of the Gospel and Society minor curriculum, which is designed to prepare people to reach out to others with the Gospel. 

In the Foundations of Church Growth course, BMTS teacher Ago Lilleorg will shine a light on the nature and Biblical aims of the church, as well as introduce the historical principles of church growth, and supply students with methods for assessing their congregation’s growth and health, and for actively developing it. 

In the Media in Christian Ministry course, lecturer Alla Novozhenina will explore the characteristics and role of Christian media in a global mass media system, guide participants in finding an artistic and thematic language for their unique ministry, and in organising the creation of a competitive media product in a fast-changing global information environment. 

Through the Spiritual Gifts and Teamwork open course, BMTS teacher Ago Lilleorg will help create a Foundation for the biblical use of spiritual gifts in ministry and to improve participants’ teamwork skills in their congregation. 

In the Counselling Open Course, we will lay the theological and psychological foundations for the practice of Christian pastoral care and introduce basic counselling skills.

A short six-week Biblical Hebrew course will be starting soon, for those who want to begin learning the original language of the Bible, and to get an understanding of the grammar and pronunciation of words in this ancient language used by Jesus and spoken by King David.

The aim of the subject is to provide the student with an overview of the content of the Old Testament, to introduce the student to the theological, literary and historical issues that arise in the context of the text.

The BMTS and the Estonian Methodist Church are organizing a DAY OF MUSIC on February 3, 2024, starting at 11.00 a.m. in Tallinn Methodist Church!

How to deal with the challenges that the war has brought? What are the options for taking care of the mental state of children and adults? What to do with a traumatic experience? How to help a person spiritually?

You are invited to an open course where you can refresh your knowledge and skills in preaching. We will review the basics of communication theory, learn how to structure a sermon, and consider your audience. You will have the opportunity to practice the learned skills in the class, get feedback and analyze other participants’ sermons. The course is also suitable for beginners.

This course offers a deeper understanding of the Bible, its history and its development. It explains the Christian and Jewish approach to Scripture and focuses on the main events and key figures of the Old Testament. We will explore how these teachings influence Christians' religious understanding and lives.
