You can borrow books with a valid ID. The library serves the college community and offers limited public library services.
The library provides a simple and convenient lending service, allowing you to use the necessary books and materials both on-site and at home. For borrowing, use our self-service computer or approach a librarian. A self-service return option is also available.
Home Lending
- The lending period is 14 calendar days, but for high-demand materials, it is 7 days.
- Up to 10 items can be borrowed at once.
- For self-service, return items by placing them on the self-checkout computer table.
- The library does not lend special-value books or student theses for home use.
- Student theses can be read electronically through the library's system.
Remote lending option:
When necessary, books can be borrowed through remote lending. Notify us in writing – the library will send the materials by mail.
The borrower covers the postage costs.
In case of damage or non-return:
The reader is required to replace or pay for any damaged or unreturned item up to ten times its value.
Renewal rules:
Upon the return due date, an electronic reminder is sent to the borrower. The reader can then renew the loan period themselves or submit a renewal request in writing or by phone.
