I became a Christian on May 23, 1991 through Pastor Helmut Rütmik of Out-Estonia churh, who was on a preaching tour in Estonia. The change that took place in me when I responded to his intercession and entrusted my life to God at the end of the service was so profound and deep that from that day on, seeking God's will and living aording to it became the centre of my life. I have never once regretted the decision I made.

Since my conversion, my life has been linked to work and activity in the church, where I have contributed in various roles. In the Estonian Christian Pentecostal Church I have served as a pastor from 1993-2019 and as a church leader from 2004-2016. My life has also been closely connected with the Estonian Defence Forces, where I have been both active and a reserve chaplain since 1995. I was ordained a pastor in 1993 and a bishop in 2005. I am currently serving in the Estonian Defence Forces as a chaplain.

I am married to Maire since 1995 and we have a daughter.

My hobbies are running, reading, hiking.
